RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Project Engineer to make sure that projects are delivered as per contractual requirements.
  • Coordination with customers, and suppliers regularly to meet the project's committed delivery within the assigned budget.
  • Internal coordination within the BUS Team and respective Endress+Hauser factories regularly.
  • Cost controlling and reporting and vendor document review and approval.
  • Responsible for preparing the RFQ (Internal & External Orders) documentation and getting the quotation from the supplier until final technical clearance to procurement.
  • Progress report submission to the customer, regular meetings with sub-suppliers, and expediting with E+H Factories and sub-suppliers to meet the committed delivery.
  • Close communication with the project manager to understand the project cash flow and project objectives.
  • Performs all work related to project engineering, design, and preparation of engineering documents that detail all technical aspects of the project.
  • Perform sizing and selection of instrumentation and components (E+H and Third party)
  • Basic knowledge of equipment such as valves, vessels, pumps, etc.
  • Creating engineering documents -datasheet (mechanical & Instrument), wiring, P&ID, GA drawings etc.
  • Prepares calculation of material requirements and technical specifications by project, local, and international norms, and standards.
  • Defines technical description of the processes and system description (Functional Design Specification, Bill of Material)
  • Prepare Hardware and Software component specifications.
  • Quality assurance and quality control, set up of test and inspection data, FAT, SAT preparation, and participation.
  • Supervises commissioning, construction, and installation work at customer site.
  • Performs commissioning and startup of systems, instruments, and components at the customer site, if required.
  • May act as Project Manager when the requirement arises.
  • Knowledge of project specifications for end users in the Middle East is an added advantage.

KEY REQUIREMENTS

Education Requirement:

  • Graduate degree in Electrical Instrumentation or Process Engineering field.

Experience Requirement:

  • Min 5 years’ experience of working in an Electrical Instrumentation or Process Engineering field.
  • Ability to manage projects with committed delivery within budget and delivery schedules
  • Experience in Endress+Hauser products and/or solutions would be an advantage.
  • Having good experience in engineering and managing Analyser & Flow Metering projects would be an added benefit.
  • Good people and process management capabilities
  • Experience in project management or solution business will be an advantage.
  • Metering Control System experience will be added Advantage.

Essential Requirements:

  • Fluency in both oral and written English and any local language
  • Understand the local market and industry needs of Endress+Hauser Strategic industries.
  • Knowledge of IT applications, MS Office (proficient user in Word, Excel, and MS Projects)
  • Knowledge of SAP and AutoCAD will be an advantage.
