We are looking for a Order Handler to join the our Logistics Department within our Australian operations. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of 120 dedicated employees across the country, with our national office located in Artarmon, Sydney, and additional offices in other key locations.
What is the role about?

As a Order Handler, you’ll work closely with our sales team, particularly internal sales. Your role will be pivotal in managing service efficiency and meeting customer expectations, making you an integral part of our team
Which tasks will you perform?
- Validate technical and commercial aspects of incoming orders
- Collaborate with Internal Sales for clarifications
- Ensure orders are processed in SAP and transferred to Production Centres and 3rd Party Suppliers
- Track and confirm orders using the Order Processing Guide
- Manage order follow-ups, including production delays and supplier confirmations
- Respond to customer enquiries (e.g., ETA, tracking, expedite requests)
- Coordinate logistics with freight companies to ensure timely delivery
- Maintain delivery instructions and ensure Proof of Deliveries (POD) are sent to customers
- Adhere to company policies and perform additional duties as required.
What do we expect from you?
- Have previous experience in a similar role within a Logistics department.
- Ideally, have knowledge of instrumentation and control, but it's not essential.
- Are proficient in all MS Office applications, SAP and other business-related software.
- Are highly organised with the ability to multi-task and stay on top of deadlines.
- Have excellent attention to detail and a demonstrated ability to follow through on tasks to completion.
- Provide exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Are a team player who can collaborate effectively with others across departments.
- Logistics qualification would be highly regarded
- Familiar with Incoterms 2020
- Ability to build relationships with international logistics colleagues
