We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our Solutions Department within our Perth operations reporting to the Solutions Manager. Endress+Hauser Australia is made up of over 120 dedicated employees across the country, with our head office located in Sydney, Australia.

In this role, you will be ultimately responsible for growing the Solutions portfolio and market share for Endress+Hauser Australia

 

Which tasks will you perform? 

  • Always providing exceptional customer service and maximising every opportunity for the Company and WA team
  • Active use of CRM to plan and manage day-to-day sales activities as well as longer term prospects
  • Providing technical sales support for our range of solutions and products. Keeping up to date with our existing and new products and solutions.
  • Build and maintain productive relationships with key personnel in assigned accounts.
  • Achieve targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives.
  • Lead solution development by involving the necessary internal and external stakeholders.

 

What do we expect from you? 

  • Previous experience in a similar role working with EPC’s, end customers, channel partners and consultants with a proven track record of exceeding targets.
  • Experience in working with Senior Managers
  • Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to multitask, operate autonomously and take the lead and be accountable.
  • Ability to develop and successfully implement account plans, forecasts, reports, and call plans.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to make sound commercial decisions and to think outside the box.
  • Instrumentation experience and product knowledge.
  • Strong regional and national industry know how.
  • Internal and external stake holder management
  • Experience as Team Leader in Project Acquisition 
  • Experience with Conflict resolution
  • Regional Travel, if and when required
  • Appropriate tertiary qualifications in electrical or instrumentation disciplines from certificate to degree level.
  • English proficiency in verbal, written and intrapersonal situations is a pre-requisite for this role.
  • Able to confidently present in group settings.
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Suites and C-360 (Salesforce CRM) or similar
  • Based in Western Australia, preferably Perth area.
