We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Endress+Hauser Hong Kong

 

What is the role about? 

Project Engineer to support and deliver instrumentation projects in Hong Kong.

This role offers a balanced mix of office-based engineering and site exposure, providing strong career development into Project leader or Technical Specialist roles.

You will work closely with Project Managers, Service Engineers, and Sales teams to ensure smooth project delivery, high quality standards, and customer satisfaction.

 

Which tasks will you perform? 

Project Execution & Coordination

  • Support the execution of instrumentation projects from order handover to final commissioning
  • Coordinate with internal departments (Sales, Service, Operations) and external stakeholders (clients, consultants, contractors)
  • Monitor project progress and proactively resolve technical or site issues

Engineering & Technical Work

  • Prepare project documentation, drawings, and technical submissions
  • Support system integration, configuration, and instrument selection
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and quality standards

Site Work & Commissioning

  • Assist in site installation, testing, troubleshooting, and system commissioning
  • Liaise with contractors and clients on-site to ensure smooth execution
  • Prepare commissioning reports and handover documentation

Customer & Quality Focus

  • Maintain strong customer communication during project execution
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to expected quality
  • Identify improvement opportunities in project processes and execution

 

What do we expect from you? 

 

  • Degree in Engineering, Physics, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
  • 3–5 years of experience in instrumentation, project engineering, or site work
  • Experience in project coordination, installation, or commissioning is preferred
  • Strong safety awareness and site discipline
  • Good communication skills (English & Chinese, Cantonese preferred)
  • Able to work independently and in a team environment

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with CAD drawings and technical documentation
  • Familiar with SAP, Salesforce, or similar ERP/CRM systems
  • Knowledge of process instrumentation or automation systems
  • Driving licence (Class 1 or 2) is an advantage
