To strengthen our team, we are looking for an SAP BTP Engineer – Solution Delivery who combines strong full-stack development expertise with a pragmatic and solution-oriented way of working. In this role, you develop modern business applications on our strategic SAP BTP platform and support the digital transformation of our processes related to Product, Asset, and Sustainability. You work closely with business teams, architects, and development teams to deliver innovative, scalable, and future-ready solutions. At the same time, you bring your experience and expertise to further develop common standards, best practices, and reusable solution components within our SAP BTP environment. 

The position will be based in Freiburg im Breisgau.

Which tasks will you perform?

• You design, develop, and operate business applications on SAP BTP, supporting the entire lifecycle from the initial idea through to production
• You develop full-stack solutions using SAP CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Build, and SAPUI5/Fiori, while applying modern development standards
• You design and implement APIs, integrations, and event-driven solutions to seamlessly connect our business processes and systems
• You take responsibility for code, solution, and operational quality, ensuring stability, maintainability, and scalability
• You actively contribute to our Clean Core strategy and develop sustainable side-by-side extensions for our SAP landscape
• You evaluate new technologies and services within the SAP BTP environment and apply them pragmatically to solve business challenges
• You work closely with business teams, Product Owners, architects, and development teams to translate business requirements into well-structured technical solutions
• You actively share your knowledge with other teams and contribute to the development of common standards, best practices, and reusable solution components

What do we expect from you?

• You have strong experience in developing business applications on SAP BTP and enjoy translating business requirements into sustainable, production-ready solutions
• You have hands-on experience with SAP CAP, SAP HANA Cloud, and SAP Build, as well as with developing APIs and integration scenarios. You are also familiar with modern cloud and software engineering principles
• You have a full-stack mindset and are comfortable working across data models and backend services through to modern user interfaces using SAPUI5/Fiori or comparable web technologies
• You are experienced in working with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and monitoring tools, and you understand the importance of quality, security, and stability in production environments
• You understand architectural principles such as Clean Core, Side-by-Side Extensibility, API First, and Event-Driven Architecture and can apply them pragmatically when designing solutions
• You combine strong technical expertise with a solution-oriented and collaborative way of working and work effectively with business teams, development teams, architects, and other stakeholders
• You have very good German and English language skills
