With innovative solutions, our global IT team, Endress+Hauser InfoServe ensures that our corporate group can rely on smooth, secure IT operations. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a System Engineer SAP Services to take on a key role in maintaining and further developing our SAP system landscape. This position can be based either in Freiburg or Weil am Rhein.

Specifically, you can expect the following tasks:

• You ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of the SAP Basis system landscape
• You design, implement, and optimize archiving strategies and solutions in SAP systems
• You analyze data archiving requirements and ensure compliance with legal and organizational standards (e.g. GDPR)
• You carry out upgrades, patches, and system migrations within the SAP Basis infrastructure
• You support the planning and implementation of cloud-based and hybrid SAP solutions, including system monitoring and performance optimization
• You collaborate closely with internal departments and external partners, while also create and maintain technical documentation
• You contribute to the SAP RISE program by supporting the Basis team with your expertise

Your qualifications:

• You have successfully completed an IT apprenticeship, a degree in Computer Science / Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification
• You have initial hands-on exposure to SAP Basis and are interested in the operation and further development of SAP systems
• Ideally, you already have first experience in data archiving or are motivated to grow your skills in areas such as SAP ArchiveLink or SAP ILM
• You work analytically and in a structured way, approach challenges with a solution-oriented mindset, and enjoy learning new topics
• You are a team player with strong communication skills and are also able to work independently when needed
• You are motivated to pursue continuous professional and personal development and to further expand your SAP expertise
• Good German and English skills complete your profile
