We are looking for a Junior Application Manager (m/f/d) for our team at Endress+Hauser Infoserve, our technology hub that provides, manages, and further develops our global business IT.

 

What is the role about?

Are you someone who enjoys taking the lead in optimizing processes and harmonizing activities across various business areas? Do you have a passion for strategy development and application implementation? Are you excited by the prospect of making a comprehensive software solution accessible to more user groups? As a Junior Application Manager, you play a crucial role in supporting users in our development units, actively participating in demand management, and driving the strategic roadmap for Polarion.

 

What tasks will you undertake?

You will:

  • Take on demand management for our central Polarion application from Siemens within the company.
  • Coordinate the harmonization, standardization, and optimization of this application across the company.
  • Collaborate with process and application experts to create and manage a strategic roadmap.
  • Provide consultation and guidance for the introduction of new locations, further development of existing Polarion extensions, and the creation of new standards.
  • Offer support and advice in operational business.
  • Identify trends and potential, and adjust the roadmap accordingly.
  • Undertake the exciting task of making a software that is currently used locally available on a central platform for all Endress+Hauser users.

 

What do we expect from you?

You:

  • Have completed IT-related training or studies.
  • Bring several years of experience in system administration and the associated processes (consulting and planning).
  • Possess good knowledge in application lifecycle management, ideally of Siemens' Polarion.
  • Show responsibility and strong communication skills.
  • Communicate fluently in German and English.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude and a forward-thinking mindset.
  • Have experience in software implementation or operation, possibly even in international rollouts.
  • Are a team player.
