Business Development Manager – India and South East Asia

Description

To maintain and develop business by providing sales and application support in India & South East Asia (Singapore and Malaysia)

Role + Responsibilities:

  • To grow the business higher than market growth.
  • Identify the market requirements and specifics, develop, and execute the strategies and tactics for growth of orders and profitability within customers.
  • Actively promote and sell Endress + Hauser products, solutions, and services in the agreed geographical area-amongst India and South Asian countries or industry of responsibility.
  • Provide pre-sales technical assistance and product education to customers, arrange, and carry out technical / product training.
  • Actively visit existing customers to promote the assigned product portfolio and services.
  • Seek new opportunities to sell assigned products and services to new customers and industries.
  • Drive sales and proposal strategies with the sales support organization.
  • Participate in customer development activities as trade shows, fairs, conferences aiming to promote the sale of products, solutions, and services of designated Instrumentation.
  • Continuously drive the improvement of customer satisfaction by understanding, communicating, and executing solutions to their needs.

Qualification + Profile:
• Adaptability to work in matrix organization.
• Detail oriented.
• High customer orientation and understanding of the industry.
• Good Communication skills.
• Hard working, versatile, and proactive and demonstrate interpersonal skills.
Education and Experience:
A Bachelor’s degree in Electronics & Instrumentation with minimum 10+ years in sales and Marketing from Instrumentation Industry.
