Assistant Director Industrial Engineer

Summary

Responsible for the Equipment Engineer processes and technologies to support business targets.

Prime Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair existing equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment.
  • Ensure equipment meets all safety standards and complies with regulations.
  • Determine root cause of equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot equipment problems and develop solutions.
  • Create and maintain equipment performance metrics and track progress over time.
  • Develop risk mitigation plans for capacity, downtime, or maintenance periods in production.
  • Deliver continuous improvements via capital investments, efficiency gains and through reductions in waste.
  • Controlling the Power & Water Cost
  • Control the repair & maintenance cost. 
  • Spare parts management​.
  • Initiate and lead TPM activities across the plant.
  • ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 System Compliance
  • 5S & Kaizen implementation in the Department
  • All other duties as assigned

Minimum Education/ Experience

  • Bachelors in engineering degree, Electrical specialization
  • Minimum 5 to 8 years of related experience
  • Education may be substituted with experience and/or training

Skills/Certifications/Experience

 

  • Action oriented problem solver, individually and cross-functionally
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize.
  • Detail oriented, accuracy and efficiency are critical.
  • Knowledgeable in continuous improvement methods  
  • Experience with SAP applications
  • Maintenance experience
  • Experience of Complete equipment maintenance Including electrical and electronics.
