Process Consultant – SAP  Supply Chain Management

Role + Responsibilities

  • Ownership of complete Quote to Cash process
  • Ownership of Warehouse Management topics
  • Team Member for Implementation & Rollout of S/4HANA
  • Should be self-sufficient in conceptualizing / designing / fulfilment of new requirements & implementing the solutions
  • Develop strong networking with sales & logistics community within E+H companies for related topic
  • Close alignment with backend Integration team within / outside India for various updates

Qualification + Profile

  • Academic Qualification: B.E. or B.Tech. or M.C.A. or M.Sc.
  • Experience: Min 7-8  Years as SAP SD consultant
  • Profound knowledge of SAP Sales & Distribution  
  • Profound knowledge of SD Customizing  
  • Profound knowledge of GST Implementation
  • SAP SD Certification – Required
  • Should be very good in English
  • Should have experience of working with international colleagues in a professional manner (Spoken, Written)

Detailed Role & Responsibility:

  1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
    1. Work with business stakeholders to understand sales, distribution, and billing processes.
    2. Translate business needs into SAP SD functional specifications.
  2. System Configuration
    1. Configure SAP SD components: sales order processing, pricing, billing, shipping, and credit management.
    2. Set up master data (customer master, material master, condition records).
  3. Integration
    1. Ensure seamless integration with other SAP modules like MM (Materials Management), FI (Financial Accounting), and WM (Warehouse Management).
    2. Collaborate with technical teams for custom developments (ABAP).
  4. Testing & Validation
    1. Prepare test cases and conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
    2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues during testing and post-go-live.
  5. Documentation
    1. Create functional specifications, configuration documents, and user manuals.
    2. Maintain changing logs and update system documentation.
  6. Training & Support
    1. Train end-users and provide post-implementation support.
    2. Handle tickets and change requests in support projects.
  7. Support Tools / application support
    1. Familiar to SFDC (Salesforce.com - Sales and Service Functionality)
    2. Jira, Confluence, etc.
  8. Project Management (Outlook senior-level)
    1. Lead SAP SD implementation or rollout projects.
    2. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and manage timelines.
