What is the role about?
As we continue to develop and grow the Global Logistics Operations Center and refine our offerings to the Endress+Hauser business, the Internal Communications Specialist will play a crucial role in ensuring effective communication and availability of relevant information internally to our team, our customers and the broader Endress+Hauser business, and to our external logistics partners.
Which tasks will you perform?
As our Internal Communications Specialist, you will:
- Work with the G-LOC Leadership team to define the G-LOC brand and how that should be presented internally within Endress+Hauser and externally to current and potential external partners.
- Create and execute communication strategies to ensure all employees, customers and external stakeholders have access to timely, accurate and relevant information.
- Promote visibility of G-LOC and what we do through creation of content for various internal communication channels and support the business to manage message cascade to external partners.
- Manage and maintain social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, TikTok etc) in alignment with Corporate Marketing to enhance visibility and engagement for G-LOC activities.
- Ensure communication messages are consistent across all mediums and departments.
- Develop digital collaboration platforms, including responsibility for building and maintaining the G-LOC Sharepoint sites as the go-to location for all G-LOC related information.
- Identify metrics to assess effectiveness of communication efforts and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Create content, branding and materials for G-LOC events such as conferences, workshops and trainings.
- Provide administration support to the Head of G-LOC to ensure the smooth running of the G-LOC operation, including supporting event planning, travel itinerary management and schedule management.
- Support the Leadership team through provision of slide decks and other materials to promote G-LOC activities and achievements.
- Collaborate with Corporate Marketing to ensure activity is aligned to Endress+ Hauser branding.
- Any other duties commensurate with your skills and experience and as directed by your manager in the development of the role and the G-LOC.
What do we expect from you?
You bring:
- Experience in a similar role with a qualification in communications, public relations or a related field.
- Strong technical skills including proficiency in the use of digital communication & collaboration platforms
- Confident user of MS 365 tools
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Detail-oriented, proactive with the ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with various departments
- Multilingual communication and writing abilities would be an advantage – English and German
