Project Manager Solution Projects

We are looking for a Project Manager Solution Projects to join our Solutions Business Center Europe team. The Solution Business Center is a regional team with team members located in different European countries and supporting customers throughout Europe and Central Asia. The current position is based in Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI), Italy. The candidate will lead and manage solution projects with EPC contractors.

What is the role about? 

The Project Manager Solution Projects leads complex international projects throughout their entire lifecycle, coordinating multidisciplinary teams and ensuring the achievement of cost, schedule, quality, and customer satisfaction objectives. Also, the role collaborates closely with customers, Sales Centers, and internal stakeholders while providing coaching and guidance to Project Managers.

The main activities will include:

 

  • Manage the full project lifecycle of major and complex solution projects, including materials, services, engineering, construction and commissioning —from planning and design to execution, control, and close-out—according to Endress+Hauser’s Standard 201.
  • Lead and coordinate international project teams across organizations, including project engineers, administrators, suppliers, and other contributors
  • Maintain close communication with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure satisfaction, manage expectations, and address any issues proactively.
  • Monitor project performance against budget, schedule, and quality targets, implementing corrective actions as needed.
  • Collaborate and network with internal departments, Sales Centers, and external partners to ensure seamless project execution across regions.
  • Coach and guide project managers in supported Sales Centers.

 

What do we expect from you? 

 

  • Strong project management skills, including planning, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
  • Strong technical knowledge in engineering disciplines (e.g., mechanical, electrical, automation).
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment across cultures and organizational boundaries.
  • Track record in managing contracts for engineered packages, including materials, services, engineering, construction and commissioning.
  • Experience in successfully leading and managing solution projects with EPC contractors (Engineering, Procurement and Construction), primarily in the value range between 1 and 10 mln EUR.
  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written) for an optimal collaboration with international colleagues and customers.
