External sales engineer

Roles + Responsibilities

- Conduct the prospecting process in the assigned territory, in order to detect and attract new customers.

- Monitor and provide follow-up advice to clients who have received technical-economic proposals.

- Maintain updated information on strategic projects, to have timely and quality information for proper decision making.

- Perform the process of negotiation and closing of sales with the client.

 

Profile + Characteristics

- Graduate of Chemical Engineering, Automation and Control, Industrial, Mechatronics, Communications, Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical or related.

Knowledge and experience in the selection, specification and recommendation of industrial measurement technologies for Flow, Level, Pressure, Temperature, Analysis.

Knowledge of basic measurement applications in industries such as Food and Beverage, Chemical or Water Treatment Plants.

Experience of at least 3 years in attending, developing and closing sales directly in industrial plants (end users).

Experience in generating business with Public or Government Entities related to water services, such as: CONAGUA, SACMEX or other Water Operator Organism.

Experience of at least 2 years in the attention, development and closing of sales with engineering firms, EPCs or integrators/builders of water treatment plants.

 

- Intermediate English

- 2 years in sales of equipment, services, automation solutions.

- 2 years applying sales techniques: tactical, strategic, solution selling, negotiation.

- Specific knowledge: Automation, Sales and Negotiation.

- Software: MS Office, CRM.

- Willingness to travel.
