Main tasks:
- Project engineering of instrumentation projects in the acquisition phase and preparation of proposals with documents, designs and calculations that support in winning the contract and enable a successful handover to execution team.
- Develop a proposal in accordance with the value proposition of the E+H and Gas Measurement Integrated Offering and the associated tooling environment.
- Support of the execution phase as appropriate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create, Transformation of inquiries to quotes after carefully understanding the scope of supply & quality requirements, including clarification of technical, commercial and export conditions.
- Providing compliance statement to project specifications.
- Order and quote related negotiations (price, delivery time, modified products (TSP), certificates and testing) with E+H production centers and 3rd party suppliers.
- Clarification of unclear orders against proposals (Purchase conditions, terms & conditions according to relevant E+H entity regulations)
- Initiate & track the special price request via SAP system .
- Maintaining the opportunity for realizing expected profitability and enabling successful handover to execution team.
- Management of the proposal process including status reporting and follow-up as required.
- Maintenance of and compliance with existing company standards, work processes, document templates and tooling.
- Include the relevant aspects of the value proposition of the "E+H Integrated Offering" and "Life Cycle Management" in the offer, including for example Project Engineering Assistant, Spec Sheet Producer, CAD model creation, integration into W@M and CER.
- Participate in the development of proposed standard processes, tooling and structures for enhancement of Instrumentation Project proposals.
- All activities to comply with company standards, procedures and work instructions.
- Negotiating supplier contracts.
- Supervision and coordination of third-party suppliers.
- Identification and development of partners and suppliers, including evaluations and commercial negotiations.
- Participation in Bid Strategy meetings, Bid Clarification meetings, Project Start Up meetings, Project Progress and handover/evaluation meetings, all as required.
- Engineering support for execution phase as required.
- Vendor document review and approval as required.
- Cooperation and coordination with other E+H organizations, project teams and business partners.
