Job Summary:

The Service Co-ordinator will work across a wide variety of customers, E+H Arabia office and local partners to plan all aspects of Instrumentation Services from job request 
through final billing.The Service Coordinator drives excellence in Service Planning, Scheduling, and resource management to support on-time and on-budget delivery of Endress+Hauser Arabia services. From proposal development through job completion, manages contractual KPI’s and coordinates internal/external interfaces & activities such as but not limited to processing transactions, managing processes, operational management, site operations, or contractor’s management. Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. 

Main responsibilities: 


1. Provide functional expertise and leadership in operations planning and scheduling.
2. Coordinate resources (field services), spare parts, tools and equipment in order to effectively complete service orders in workshop or offsite locations. 
3. Act as a single point of contact for the services rendered to customers.

4.Communicate with customers to ensure seamless service and work scope execution, coordinate with customer stakeholders to ensure customer expectations are met.
5. Develop schedules using established tools, processes, and standards. 
6. Ensure resources are assigned and available to execute job orders in accordance with the plan. Keep up-to-date records for engineer’s safety passports, medicals, and  training                          requirement. 
7. Maintain schedules to accurately reflect work progress and remaining work. Provision of SAP/SMP system records and database.
8. Analyse the progress and schedule performance. Identify variances from plan, risks, and emerging trends that may signal a concern
9. Communicate across multiple departments to effectively coordinate operations
10. Report and review schedule progress, regularly.
11. Escalate issues or risks that have not been properly addressed.
12. Ensure clear alignment between cost and schedule. Drive customer invoicing on-time per job completion. 
13. Analyse the impact of change orders on schedule performance.
14. Provide contractually required customer reports.
15. Provide accurate and timely performance reports to senior management.
16. Support continuous improvement and transformative innovation.

 

Qualifications

  1. Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Mechanical) or a related field.
  2. Minimum of 2–5 years of experience in service coordination, planning, or operations within industrial or technical services environments (preferred).
  3. Strong knowledge of planning and scheduling tools (e.g., SAP or similar systems).
  4. Good understanding of field service operations and resource management.
  5. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  6. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
