Position Description + Responsibilities

Endress+Hauser is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Key Account Manager to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The available position entails responsibility for overseeing the sales results and sales development for nominated key account(s). You will play a key role in building relationships, identifying customer needs as well as delivering them to ensure customer satisfaction.

 

Role in brief

  • Manage and plan the core activities according to company long term sales strategy, short term sales tactics, and opportunity management to deliver sales growth.
  • Maximize the sales of Endress+Hauser products and services in his/her territory or industry segment.
  • Ensure a superior level of customer service both commercially and technically and develop and maintain a comprehensive knowledge.

 

Specific Responsibilities

Customer Engagement:

Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the assigned region.

Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their operational challenges and identifying opportunities for our solutions offering.

 

Sales Execution:

Promoting and selling Endress+Hauser’s portfolio.

Achieving or exceeding sales targets in the designated territory.

 

Technical Expertise:

Providing in-depth knowledge of Endress+Hauser products, services & solutions to address customer inquiries.

Collaborating with technical teams to design and propose as per customer requirements.

 

Market Development:

Identifying new opportunities within the customer base for business growth.

Staying informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer challenges.

Participating in local/regional events, workshops, and customer training sessions to promote Endress+Hauser’s capabilities.

 

Account Management:

Managing proposals, quotes, and negotiations.

Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and proactive issue resolution.

Working with respective Product Managers to develop opportunities.

 

Qualification + Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (Engineering) or equivalent with at least 3 years’ experience & comprehensive knowledge of the market.
  • Highly skilled in negotiation whilst being the customer champion.
  • Superior technical and commercial knowledge, with consultative sales understanding.
  • Ability to communicate at all levels and across many different cultures throughout the Endress+Hauser organization, being an excellent team player.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to high-quality work and integrity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
  • Good MS Office tools and operational systems understanding. Experience with SalesForce.com is an advantage.

You may have (preferred):

Industrial automation or process industry experience. Understand industry stakeholders (End Users, Integrators, and/or Engineering Firms)
