Responsibilities :
For Field Service part:
Travel to customer site to assist with commissioning, maintenance, repair, diagnosis and upgrade/update of instrumentation, it’s include also troubleshooting, start-up and maintenance contract work.
- The objective is to minimize customer downtime and increase customer satisfaction of Endress+Hauser instrumentation and services in an efficient, safe, quality and cost-effective manner.
Travel to customer’s site inside the country to perform in
Roles include but not limited to:
- professional preparation for service visits (request type, tools, documentation, spare parts, SOP's/Work Instructions, etc.)
- knowledge and use of support systems and processes to professionally manage, track, document and effectively close service calls
- Provide accurate, professional documentation of service calls on site.
- provide training to customer maintenance staff on maintenance, repair, commissioning of
Endress+Hauser instrumentation
- Professional interaction with customer and its representatives; "ownership" of issues and escalation when appropriate
- Provide feedback to Sales team to report potential opportunity to sell E+H products/solution
- Determine possible system faults prior to departing for on-site service calls, in order to determine test equipment and spare parts that may be required.
- Root cause problem analysis & resolution on site using personal as well as internal expertise
- Assist with training of less experienced field service technicians.
- Assist the customer via telephone with product information and problem solving.
- Site and/or factory acceptance test support.
- Arranging and follow-up Demo’s & Trials at customer’s site.
- Handling of repairs / returns.
- Spares and spare parts requirements analysis and support customer and sales function
- Bring continuously value added services to customer
For Calibration Service part:
Apply knowledge of measurement science, mathematics, physics and electronics to calibrate measurement devices to ensure measurement accuracy.
Roles include but not limited to:
- Calibration on-site or in laboratory of flow meter, temperature ,pressure and analyzer instruments
- Preparation for calibration activity (request type, tools & equipment needed, documentation, SOP's/Work Instructions, etc.)
- Identify and utilize appropriate calibration systems & procedures (SOP's, Work Instructions)
- identify out-of-tolerance conditions & measurement errors and perform corrective actions to address identified measurement problems
- Collect, compile, measure, summarize and record data gathered during calibrations; prepare calibration reports & certificates according to standard ISO 9001 and 17025
- Recommend improvement of standards and methods to be used in calibration applications
- maintain calibration tools and equipment in perfect working condition.
- Travel around 75% within the kingdom according to the need .
Qualification :
Bachelor of Engineering in Instrumentation or Electronics or equivalent or Industrial Engineering or Technology of Science in Electronics and Instrumentation.
Experience :
- 3 to 5 years experience in calibration service and commissioning of instrumentation (flow meters pressure and temperature level and liquid analysis)
- Strong knowledge on calibration and metrology (measurement principle, Methodology)
- Field Communication experience (HART, Profibus, FF, Modbus…)
Advantageous:
- knowledge in E+H products, experience on process applications
- Knowledge in customer support and after sales services
- Experience with Lotus Notes and Microsoft Office Environment and SAP is a plus
- Fluent in English , Arabic knowledge is an added advantage
