Role + Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for the definition, implementation, and execution of the global category strategy in collaboration with the strategic purchasers at our worldwide production sites.
  • Additionally, you conduct continuous procurement market analysis  and supplier evaluations to sustainably improve costs, quality, and availability.
  • You lead sourcing  and cost optimization projects.
  • Active risk management of components, suppliers, and procurement markets is also part of your role.

 

 

Qualification + Profile

  • You have a technical degree (Uni/ FH) or degree as certified purchaser, ideally with further training in supply management.
  • Moreover, you bring several years of experience in a comparable role in a technical environment with a global scope. 
  • You are proficient in using MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
  • You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as proficient negotiation abilities in German and English 
  • You are characterized by a flexible, reliable, and socially competent personality.
  • You are willing to travel globally.
