We are looking for an experienced Category Manager (m/f/d) Electronics to join our company and take ownership of the global category strategy for electronic components.
What is the role about?
As a Category Manager (m/f/d) Electronics, you possess comprehensive knowledge of the global sourcing market and its trends, enabling you to effectively develop the category strategy in alignment with the overall supply chain strategy. Your leadership skills empower you to collaborate with cross-functional teams, facilitating the successful identification and implementation of improvements in areas such as cost, quality, risk, and availability.
Which tasks will you perform?
You are responsible for the definition, implementation, and execution of the global category strategy for electronical components in close collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Additionally, you conduct continuous procurement market analysis and supplier evaluations to sustainably improve costs, quality, and availability.
You lead sourcing and cost optimization projects.
Active risk management of components, suppliers, and procurement markets is also part of your role.
What do we expect from you?
You have a technical degree (Uni/ FH) or degree as certified purchaser, ideally with further training in supply management.
Moreover, you bring several years of experience in a comparable role in sourcing electronical components with a global scope.
You are proficient in using MS Office, SAP knowledge is an advantage.
You have strong leadership, interpersonal, intercultural and communication skills
You possess strong analytical and conceptual skills, as well as proficient negotiation abilities in German and English
You are characterized by a flexible, reliable, and socially competent personality.
You are willing to travel globally.
