We are looking for an Information Security Specialist  to join our dynamic team at Endress+Hauser Digital Solutions. In this role you will be part of a small team managing IT Security topics within the business unit while collaborating in group wide projects and initiatives.

As our Information Security Specialist, you will drive processes to protect our digital assets, oversee security protocols, and manage projects to enhance our security posture, ensuring a robust and resilient system that supports our innovative solutions.


Which tasks will you perform?

You will:

  • Be responsible for the operationalization of the information security management system (ISMS according to ISO 27001)
  • Implement and further develop the information security controls
  • Take part in carrying out the risk analysis and perform  internal audits
  • Collaborate effectively in related specialist areas, such as business continuity, data protection
  • Coordinate and manage in entity and group-wide information security projects
  • Advise the specialist areas (IT, development) and branches on the topic of information security

 

What do we expect from you?

You:

  • Studied informatics or a comparable degree or qualification 
  • Have experience with IT security principles and best practices 
  • Ideally hold relevant certifications such as CISM, CISSP, CISA, CompTIA, or similar
  • Ideally knowledge of project management, business continuity
  • Analytical and structured approach
  • High communicative and social competence, team player and strong assertiveness 
  • Business fluent in English and German
  • Willingness for regional travel approx. 20-25% of the time
