We are looking for a Master’s Student for a thesis or internship in the selection and Implementation of PFAS-Free Materials for Applications in the Chemical Industry (f/m/d) for 6 months at Endress+Hauser Flow, where you'll play a crucial role in developing innovative solutions that ensure sustainability and compliance in chemical industry applications. This position directly supports our mission to drive innovation while meeting critical market demands.

This role focuses on identifying and implementing commercially available PFAS-free materials for instruments used in the chemical industry. You will evaluate and select materials that meet stringent market requirements while demonstrating industry acceptance. Your work will directly contribute to developing a working prototype, ensuring its effectiveness and market feasibility.


Which tasks will you perform? 
You will: 

  • Conduct comprehensive research to identify PFAS-free materials suitable for instruments used in the chemical industry.
  • Evaluate the properties and performance of various materials to ensure alignment with industry requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop a working prototype.
  • Demonstrate the feasibility, effectiveness, and market acceptance of the selected material.
  • Document findings and present insights to internal stakeholders and potential customers.
  • Support the development of innovative solutions that align with sustainability goals and regulatory compliance.


What do we expect from you? 
You: 

  • have a Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Material Science.
  • have a strong command of German and English, both spoken and written.
  • are passionate about sustainable materials and their application in the chemical industry.
  • have an analytical mindset with the ability to assess and compare material properties.
  • take a proactive approach to solving complex challenges and driving innovative solutions.
  • You are enthusiastic about marketing activities.
