Role + Responsibilities for a Solutions Sales Consultant:

Endress+Hauser is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Solutions Sales Consultant to join our regional teams. This role focuses on driving sales of our solutions offering within the assigned territory. You will play a key role in building relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction. 

 

Main responsibilities for a Solutions Sales Consultant:

Customer Engagement: 

  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with customers within the assigned region. 
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to customers, understanding their operational challenges and identifying opportunities for our solutions offering. 

Sales Execution: 

  • Promoting and selling Endress+Hauser’s portfolio of engineered solutions
  • Achieving or exceeding sales targets for solutions revenue in the designated territory. 
  • Preparing and delivering technical presentations to demonstrate how solutions meet our customer needs. 

Technical Expertise: 

  • Providing in-depth knowledge of Endress+Hauser solutions to address customer inquiries. 
  • Collaborating with technical teams to design and propose customised solutions. 

Market Development: 

  • Identifying new opportunities within the customer base for solution growth. 
  • Staying informed about industry trends, competitive offerings, and customer challenges. 
  • Participating in regional events, workshops, and customer training sessions to promote Endress+Hauser’s capabilities. 

 

Account Management: 

  • Preparing and managing proposals, quotes, and negotiations. 
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through regular follow-ups and proactive issue resolution. 
  • Working with existing Area sales Managers to develop opportunities in Solutions

 

Qualification + Profile for a Solutions Sales Consultant:

  • Proven track record of consultative selling 
  • 3+ years of experience in sales, preferably in solutions within industrial automation or process industries. 
  • Strong understanding of process automation and related service applications. 
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into customer-focused solutions. 
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and results-oriented mindset. 
  • Willingness to travel regionally to meet with customers
