Develop and manage strong, lasting relationships with suppliers.
Represent Endress+Hauser Automation Greenwood in global sourcing efforts and participate in campus teams, projects, and events to align with our overall sourcing strategy.
Develop and implement strategies for continuous improvement to meet business needs both externally and internally.
Execute sourcing aspects of engineering changes, and support first article inspection (FAI) process as needed.
Coordinate with material planning to transfer quarterly sales forecast to direct suppliers to ensure adequate supply of direct materials.
Update relevant material master data in SAP as needed.
Qualification + Profile
Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university and three (3) to five (5) years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Strong working knowledge of sourcing concepts and strategies along with the ability to negotiate stocking agreements and/or contracts
Strong knowledge of SAP (or similar ERP) and Microsoft Office
Customer focused, self-driven and capable of prioritizing workload within a dynamic environment
Excellent problem-solving abilities
Ability to read, interpret and analyze business documents and engineering drawings
Ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and suppliers from diverse cultures and backgrounds
Travel: approximately 10%, including international
