Role + Responsibilities 

The Engineering Associate position is designed for new graduates – providing exposure to different functions within the Customer Excellence department to develop technical and business skills and gain meaningful experience for the rest of their career. Following a corporate and technical onboarding period, employees will participate in a 9-12-month engineering program that allows you to gain exposure in the Customer Excellence department.  

This department focuses on executing functions required to support our customers and drive our business. You will interact with different groups learning the Sales, Service, and Project portions of our business – and possibly can experience another team depending on business needs. Placement opportunities after successful completion of the program include a variety of engineering roles in any of our US based locations. Opportunities for employment may also exist with our nationwide network of business partners. 

  • Continually learn and develop skills for handling Endress+Hauser tools, processes, etc. within the different teams/functions. 
  • Address customer inquiries and technical issues via phone, Salesforce, and email.  
  • Collaborate with others to provide technical support and develop solutions for customers.  
  • Guide customers in selecting the right products based on their needs.  
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience by addressing post-sales technical questions and supporting the sales team.  
  • Provide ongoing communication with customers on pending quotes, addressing unresolved issues, and ensuring satisfaction.    

Qualification + Profile  

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field  
  • Ability to actively seek information to understand customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs  
  • Acts independently and on own initiative  
  • Uses understanding of customer needs to initiate solutions  
  • Implement customer feedback to improve overall experience and prevent issues from occurring  
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills  
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications 
  • Potential travel, possibly involving multi-week assignments depending on business needs
