Role + Responsibilities

  • The General Manager is responsible for the Profit & Loss of the Associate Product Center (APC) in Greenwood, IN.
  • Represent the company in all aspects in the region, including serving as a member of the extended E+H Temperature + System Products Management Board.
  • Responsible to manage the operational business unit.
  • Act as an entrepreneur and as an ambassador.
  • Develop and orient the company on customer and market needs to become a leader in the business area of Temperature+System Products.
  • Provide a clear vision and strategy regarding the local market development (North and South Americas) together with a strong customer and market orientation.
  • Define and follow up the market development plans for targeted areas together with the local Sales Centers.
  • Active cooperation in the further development of the global supply chain. Local and global sourcing initiatives in coordination with the global purchasing strategy.
  • Through excellent leadership, develop and maintain an effort to establish and retain a strong team, attract, integrate and motivate all people in the local team with the necessary skills and commitment.

Qualification+Profile

  • Academic degree in Engineering or related field along with a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) 
  • 10+ years experience in a Leadership role, evolving from technical sales to full company planning, production, people, budget and P&L responsibility
  • Good background, knowledge and experience of the local/regional market and industries
  • Experience developing and implementing strategies, business plans, and targets
  • International experience from working at a subsidiary with headquarters being abroad (e.g. Europe)
  • Demonstrate experiences of devising and implementing strategies that have resulted in business and profit growth
