Role + Responsibilities 
This position will direct and coordinate the Industrial Engineering Planning team to implement improved lean production processes and layouts, increase efficiency and productivity, and increase local content while maintaining quality standards.
SAP 

  • Create/Maintain Bill of Material (BOM)/Routing/KMATs for products
  • Collect and maintain data to accurately drive the material control systems with BOMs and Routings
  • Coordinate and process changes for Engineering Change Requests

Project Management

  • Serve as the SAP Team Member to coordinate plant activites with PC Maulburg (Parent Co.)
  • Lead cross functional teams to introduce new products into local production in Greenwood. 
  • Acquire tooling quotes and prepare orders with local suppliers for production needs
  • Provide hands on involvement in production and constructions of necessary production tools, fixtures, and assembly equipment and systems

Continuous Improvement 

  • Identify and implement production improvements and lean processes 
  • Create, implement, audit and maintain ISO 9001 Quality Process documentation
  • Conduct production problem investigation and resolution as needed
  • Advise and justify plant layout requirements to support improvements

Qualification + Profile

  • 3 to 5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer or related field. 
  • Work in a team environment with multiple daily tasks and minimal direct supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
  • Apply common sense understanding along with various known concrete factors to determine solutions which best serve the customers and company’s needs
  • Communicate issues clearly and concisely in both verbal and written form.
  • Perform tasks independently with on-time project delivery.
  • Capability to oversee and lead projects and teams of varying scope.
  • Knowledge of SAP, AutoCad and Microsoft Office
  • Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
  • Balance team and individual responsibilities
  • Experience implementing lean manufacturing and improvements (preferred)
