What is the role about? 

Endress+Hauser’s MIV (main instrumentation vendor) program was created with the vision of bringing Endress+Hauser’s unique expertise around instrumentation and project lifecycles to create value and provide a world-class experience for our clients. The MIV program accomplishes through reducing the number of client touch points, promoting project consistency, increasing visibility on project progress, and quickly pivoting to meet our client’s need during project execution. We aim not just to execute but drive the client’s project schedule and reduce nonconformances that could delay startup of their projects.  

Which tasks will you perform? 

  • Physically moves items from storage to the receipt verification space in a first-in-first-out approach or in alignment from priorities provided by the warehouse manager or project manager.   
  • Inspect the physical item for any defects.   
  • Compare the physical item against the as-purchased or as-specified conditions listed in the digital database. Results of the inspection are to be recorded in the digital database.    
  • In the event physical damage or a nonconforming parameter is identified, the RV Technician will record the nonconformance in a digital database and physically move the item into the nonconformance area.   
  • In the event the physical item passes inspection, and no damage is found, the RV Technician will physically move the product to be staged for shipment to the final customer.   
  • The RV Technician may be required to adhere physical tags to the device upon the completion of the inspection.    
  • The RV Technician will be responsible for helping to maintain physical inventory in a secured location and assist with performing regular physical inventory counts to validate product on the shelf.  
  • Support in pulling items out of inventory provided on a physical pick-list and safe staging and preparation of product for field release.  
  • This role may also require flexibility to help fill out other responsibilities associated with the warehouse as necessary to handle peaks in workload. This may include resolving nonconformance with the team or a supplier, assisting with receipt or shipment of goods, and general warehouse activities.   

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or one to three years related experience and/or training   
  • Ability to use a computer and basic computer programs with on-site training 
  • Attention to detail is a must for this position 
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand and use hands to handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to walk and sit. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. For items weighing more than 50 pounds, the appropriate lifting assistance is to be used. Specific vision abilities required for this job include close vision and color vision.  

You may have (preferred): 

  • Ability to read technical specifications and/or drawings is a plus
