What is the role about?
As a Field Support Engineer, you’ll play a critical role in delivering on-site services that include start-up, troubleshooting, repair, calibration, and training for Endress+Hauser customers. This position requires strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills. Flexibility and frequent travel are essential, as you’ll represent Endress+Hauser in the field while upholding safety standards and fostering customer confidence.
Which tasks will you perform?
- Travel to customer site to perform start-up, troubleshooting, training, repair, maintenance contract work and calibration services.
- Determine possible system faults prior to departing for on-site service calls, determine appropriate test equipment and spare parts that may be required.
- Perform services within allotted time and monetary budget.
- Identify opportunities for upgrades at the customer site.
- Provide accurate, professional, and timely documentation of service calls, provide feedback to sales and marketing to report potential customer applications of Endress+Hauser products.
- Conduct product training for customers and Endress+Hauser associates and partners.
- Provide backup and Level II support for Tech Support call center
- Develop and maintain a level of knowledge of all Endress+Hauser products.
- Communicate effectively with customers, principals, co-workers, and management providing information regarding the nature of problems, course of action to be taken and schedule for completion of work.
- Provide support and training to peers to improve their abilities and increase their technical knowledge.
- Comply with all aspects of the Endress+Hauser safety program, including but not limited to; hazard communication, PPE requirements, and attending applicable safety training.

- Associates degree in a technical field or equivalent training and experience
- Travel is expected to be 50%-70%
