This pivotal role is dedicated to delivering comprehensive technical and application support tailored to Level measurement needs within the North American region. Responsibilities encompass managing technical support cases, offering online and telephone support, contributing to problem-solving initiatives, and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Role + Responsibilities 

Technical Support 

  • Support SC product managers and specialists on product related technical issues and 

application related issues. 

  • Attend industry conferences in support of Level and pressure products. 
  • Provide pricing support for Level and Pressure products. 
  • Provide informational tours of facility. 

TSP Quoting 

  • Maintain TSP Quotation Request Database in SAP. 
  • Make recommendations for design and cost of modifications to existing products 

to meet customer application or specification requirements. 

  • Follow through with quotes to appropriate Sales Center. 
  • Modify bills of material for our production to build the modified products. 
  • Initiate drawings and request final drawings from Industrial Engineering 

department. 

  • Assign special part numbers as needed and enter part numbers into material system 
  • Requisition special materials 
  • Modify or generate bills of materials 
  • Submit bills for entry into material system as required 
  • Stay up to date on all marketed or manufactured products by Endress+Hauser (USA) 
  • Maintain a business relationship with key vendors of special materials and services. 
  • Maintain TSP files and records, including quotes, sales orders, part masters for 

special parts, product deviation sheets, etc. 

  • Provide support to production, logistics and industrial engineering as needed. 
  • Lead improvement process for TSP. 

General Sales Support 

  • Serve as a guide for facility tours. 
  • Coordinate project logistics and pricing requirements. 
  • Support EQI (quoting) process. 
  • Participate in problem solving for specific situations negatively affecting sales.

 

Qualification + Profile 

  • Possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Electronics, Physics, Chemistry, Marketing, or equivalent, coupled with at least two (2) years of relevant experience in the process control industry; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Demonstrate proficiency in problem-solving methodologies, including the ability to define problems, gather data, and draw valid conclusions
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Display exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Adaptability to thrive in an international work environment
  • Exhibit a strong customer service orientation
  • Demonstrate outstanding leadership, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Ability to articulate issues clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents
  • Possessing advanced Level product and application knowledge is advantageous
