This pivotal role is dedicated to delivering comprehensive technical and application support tailored to Level + Pressure measurement needs within the North American region. Responsibilities encompass managing technical support cases, offering online and telephone support, contributing to problem-solving initiatives, and collaborating with key stakeholders.

Role + Responsibilities 

  • Support Sales Center colleagues and business specialists on product related technical issues and application related issues.
  • Manage technical support cases within Smart support for pre and post sales.
  • Oversee customer complaints within Salesforce when requested.
  • Responsible for overseeing the non-sellable spare part process
  • Attend networking conferences in support of Level and pressure products.
  • Provide pricing support for Level and Pressure products when requested
  • Provide informational tours of the facility.
  • Provide product training when requested

TSP Support

  • Maintain TSP Quotation Request Database in SAP for new and existing offers
  • Generate new TSP offers and maintain existing offers.
  • Make recommendations for design and cost of modifications to existing products to meet customer application or specification requirements.
  • Support Sales Center colleagues and business specialists on TSP related technical issues and application related issues.
  • Follow through with quotes to appropriate Sales Center.
  • Maintain workflows and operations to perform according to company TSP KPIs.
  • Stay up to date on all marketed or manufactured products by Endress+Hauser Level +Pressure in order to make sound design modifications or recommendations.
  • Provide support to Production, Logistics, and Industrial Engineering as needed.
  • Lead improvement processes for TSP.

General Sales Support

  • Support the level + pressure products acquisition process by reviewing specifications, requirements, and other requests from sales centers and end customers to ensure conformity to requests.
  • Provide technical support to customers by responding to inquiries about our products, their application or explaining our product design as it fits in their processes.
  • Analyze customer specifications to determine if standard or special products fit their needs. If a special product is required, collaborate with production and engineering to determine if manufacturing can be done based on proposed product design.
  • Configure products, modify designs, generate time and cost estimates, write exceptions to customer specifications and prepare pricing for formal quotations.
  • Identify special materials needed to meet customer specifications and functional requirements; then work with purchasing, engineering, and quality to identify qualified vendors.
  • Identify product options that need to be industrialized or transferred based on synergies seen in production processes, past or future forecasts.
  • Technical trainer for sales and marketing colleagues within the geographical regions of responsibility.
  • Serve as a guide for facility tours.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualification + Profile 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related field, with a minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in the process control industry—or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with individuals at all levels, both within and outside the organization.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Highly detail-oriented, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in an international setting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
