Join our dynamic team as a pivotal leader in our Level + Pressure division! As a Production Supervisor, you'll be responsible for ensuring performance and results within your assigned area. Your role will involve orchestrating and guiding various activities to align with departmental priorities to achieve our overarching goals.

 

Role + Responsibilities 

  • Lead a team of up to 25 employees across multiple departments, utilizing expertise to oversee growth and development in accordance with organizational policies and legal regulations
  • Actively engage as a vital member of the Leadership Team, contributing insights and perspectives to strategic decision-making processes.
  • Foster collaboration and synergy by facilitating cross-functional core teams
  • Take charge of training and mentoring new employees
  • Use analytical skills to identify and resolve work-related challenges, leveraging Lean, Kaizen, and SMART4Q methodologies to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Uphold safety regulations and company policies, maintaining a secure and compliant work environment for all team members.
  • Collaborate closely with production planning to optimize scheduling and resource allocation
  • Maintain departmental quality standards, driving excellence and consistency 
  • Demonstrate versatility by providing emergency coverage for equipment or processes
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the team, championing innovation and efficiency to accomplish goals
  • Work with the engineering department to address technical issues and equipment maintenance

 

Qualification + Profile  

  • An Associate’s degree (A.A./A.S.) in Supervision, Engineering, Business, Machining Technology, or similar field and seven (7) to ten (10) years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; along with three (3) to five (5) years related experience in a supervisory role.   
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence  
  • Capability of communicating issues clearly and concisely in both written and verbal form 
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, Sharepoint and SAP
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities 
  • Promotes & develops competencies of employees 
  • Equipment troubleshooting experience would be a plus
