Role + Responsibilities  

  • Collaborate with Project Management and Solutions teams to understand project requirements and develop procurement strategies that align with project timelines and budgetary constraints. 
  • Conduct research and identify potential suppliers, evaluate their capabilities, and negotiate favorable terms and conditions. 
  • Prepare and issue purchase orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness of all necessary information. 
  • Manage supplier relationships effectively, this to include supplier performance management and resolution of discrepancies regarding invoicing, purchase orders, deliveries, communication, etc. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchasing activities, including supplier information, contracts, and pricing agreements. 
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide timely support and guidance. 
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities through effective negotiation, alternative sourcing, or process improvements. 

Qualification + Profile  

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.  
  • 1-3 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain management. More experience is a plus.  
  • Experience with Indirect Procurement is a plus. 
  • Create various excel/access reports to provide detailed supplier and spend analysis information. 
  • Excellent communication skills and be comfortable talking to all kinds of people inside and outside the organization.  
  • Individual is not afraid of distilling complex business data into information that is actionable and meaningful.
