What is the role about? 

As a Repair and Calibration Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of Endress+Hauser and third-party instruments through continuous repair, maintenance, and calibration, playing a crucial role in enhancing equipment reliability and operational efficiency. 

Which tasks will you perform? 

  • Continuously repair and maintain Endress+Hauser instruments, including possible support for third-party instruments. 
  • Perform calibrations for instrumentation within our scope of work, focusing on Flow, Pressure, and Temperature measurements. 
  • Set up standard test apparatus, devices, and circuitry to conduct functional, operational, environmental, and life cycle testing, evaluating performance and reliability of failed equipment. 
  • Adjust, calibrate, align, and modify circuitry and components, recording and reporting the effects on unit performance. 
  • Analyze and interpret test data to improve equipment reliability and performance. 

What do we expect from you? 

You will have (required): 

  • Associate's degree in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field, OR 4 years of relevant experience in a technical field, including technical repair and investigation. 

You may have (preferred): 

  • Strong metrology background with a desire to expand knowledge; proficient in general metrology theory and electrical principles, including analog, digital, and microprocessor-based circuits. 
  • Experienced in managing self and others, with the ability to operate and troubleshoot using electrical test equipment (oscilloscopes, multi-meters, frequency counters) and repair electronic assemblies. 
  • Ability to work and make informed decisions independently and on own initiative.   
  • Demonstrates trust, respect, and support for others, fostering teamwork and a collaborative spirit. 
  • Prioritizes and acts in the best interests of the company by advancing organizational goals, focusing on solution-oriented issues, and making clear, decisive choices. 
  • Ability to identify areas for improvement, develop action plans, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Excels in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, effectively prioritizing tasks while adapting to shifting demands. 
  • Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy, capable of utilizing critical thinking to ensure precision in tasks.
