What is the role about?
Rust Automation & Controls Inc., a manufacturer's representative partner company of Endress+Hauser, Inc., is currently looking to hire their next Field Service Technician in Boise, ID This position consists of daily travel to their varied customers (including power, energy, process, municipal, chemical, mining, life sciences, pharma, food and beverage, and commercial) throughout their territory to service mostly instrumentation. These services include (but are not limited to) commissioning, diagnostics and repair, maintenance, calibration, training, and assist with troubleshooting. Travel is dynamic depending on the customer needs and will be local as well as long distance. 
Which tasks will you perform?

• Successful completion of instrumentation apprenticeship program
• Hands-on troubleshooting & repair
• Adapt to various industrial environment requirements
• Possible Regional Travel in following States: UT, CA, CO, WY, NV, ID, MT, ND, HI
• Articulate solutions & work with a team to execute

What do we expect from you?
You will have (required):

• High School Diploma or equivalent

You may have (preferred): 

• Associate degree in a technical field
• Instrumentation experience
• Calibration and/or metrology experience
• Demonstrates basic electrical and mechanical knowledge
• Ability and knowledge of how to use hand tools, and electronic testing equipment
• Strong computer skills and communication 
• Ability to multitask different projects at the same time 
• Strong attention to detail 
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• Can work independently and exercise good judgment 
• Self-motivated and ability to prioritize tasks 
• Punctuality and ownership of responsibility 
• Valid Driver’s License and safe driving record
