Role + Responsibilities  

  • Directly support our customers, representative network, service technicians, and Endress+Hauser sales team with both technical and non-technical sales requests. 
  • Work closely with a designated Regional Sales Manager and Regional Business Manager to support sales activities in their respective regions. 
  • Prepare and submit basic bid proposals for potential daily and project business scopes of work, ensuring accurate and competitive pricing to secure new business.   
  • Assist in management of daily business and project pipeline, ensure the pipeline is well-maintained and up to date with project business, including delivery and forecasting.  
  • Oversee and coordinate product requests, ensuring their availability and capability to meet customer demands.  
  • Act as a technical product specialist liaison between the production centers and representatives.   
  • Evaluate and process potential return and other requests from customers and representatives (includes owning evaluation of return root cause and restocking fee calculation). 
  • Assisting in managing the sales backlog, ensuring efficient and timely order processing, and supporting the team in meeting delivery commitments.   

Qualification + Profile  

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical field and 2+ years of related experience 
  • Actively seeks information to understand customer circumstances, problems, expectations, and needs 
  • Uses understanding of customer needs to initiate solutions 
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret technical documents and bid specifications 
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills 
  • Ability to effectively present information in a clear and organized manner, and respond professionally and appropriately to questions of managers, reps, and customers 
  • Ability to travel 15% as needed
