Requirement of a Analytical Lab.expert having qualification of MSc./PhD Chemistry or equivalent for Analytik-Jena Laboratory at Thane location .
Must have knowledge and working experience (10-12 yrs.) This role involves sample preparation, operating and routine maintaining specialized equipment such as UV-Vis Spectrophotometer; ICP-OES; ICP-MS ; and AAS, interpreting complex data, and ensuring the accuracy of results. Ability to contribute in sales of the products.
Core responsibilities
- Sample analysis: Preparing samples and running tests using various spectroscopic instruments to identify and quantify elements and compounds.
- Instrument management: Operating, calibrating, and performing routine maintenance on equipment like UV-Vis Spectrophotometer; Atomic Absorption Spectrometer (AAS); Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectrometers (ICP-OES) and Mass Spectrometer(ICP-MS)
- Data interpretation: Analyzing and interpreting the resulting spectra to understand the chemical properties and composition of samples.
- Method development: Developing and validating new analytical methods to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Quality control: Performing control testing to ensure the reliability of lab results.
- Reporting: Documenting procedures, creating detailed reports, and presenting findings to team members and stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting: Investigating and resolving issues with customer complaints by using analytical techniques.
- Application Notes: Develop and create application notes time to time as required.
- Product management: Assistance to sales team, conducting webinars/seminars/training to the customers on product and application

- Analytical techniques: Proficiency in a range of analytical methods, especially spectroscopy (e.g., UV-Vis, ICP - OES & MS , AAS).

- Lab-based: The role is primarily performed in a laboratory setting, often involving close collaboration with Service Engineers ,sales team and customer scientists/Chemists.
- Specialized equipment: handling of water purification system, microwave digestion, Electronic Balances ,Fume Hood, Muffle Furnace etc.
