Role + Responsibilities  

  • Design and program various levels of control and monitoring using a PLC or DCS and AutoCAD Electrical (Allen Bradley and Phoenix contract PLCs preferred)
  • Fieldbus Network Engineering and Design.
  • Develop and maintain basic technical knowledge of all Endress+Hauser Liquid Analytical product lines enough to support customers and sales reps in service, application, and problem solving. 
  • Interpret and develop electrical or process technical documentation packages.
  • Feld work including site surveys, start-up and commissioning, and troubleshooting.
  • Coordinate and provide oversight to field contractor work to ensure project requirements. 
  • Integrate process wireless, HART and Modbus communications, transmitter configuration, and cellular modem systems. 
  • Act as a customer liaison; provide technical support and other needed information and be able to lead, initiate and/or attend project meetings (internal and/or external) as required.

Qualification + Profile  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Process Automation preferred  
  • Travel required: Approximately 25% (up to 50% during peak times)
  • Customer focused decision making
  • PLC/HMI Programming, AutoCAD electrical design & knowledge 
  • Experience with electrical controls principles and industry standards, such as US hazardous area requirements (NEC and NFPA)
  • Strong design and engineering skills/experience
