Senior Software Engineer MES

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer MES to join our Group and Lead Java Based Customizations for SAP ME application at Endress+Hauser Flowtec India at Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar Location

 

What is the role about? 

 

We are Rolling SAP ME Solutions at our Production Centers with close collaboration of Reinach Team. SAP ME is a Java Based tool and there are requirements to further enhance and deploy new solutions to cater business needs. We are looking for a Experienced Java Solutions architect who can deliver the requirements as per MES stakeholders.

 

Which tasks will you perform? 

 

You will

 

  •  Be responsible for designing, developing and maintaining java-based functionalities in SAP ME.
  • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining functionalities in SAP ME.  
  • You will be responsible working in close collaboration with software development team in Reinach. And you will be guided by Technical Team Lead in Reinach and Lead Engineer in Chatrapati Sambhaji Nagar division. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software engineers as well as business process designer/project leader) in Reinach to deliver robust, scalable, and user-friendly MES Utilities. 
  • Willingness to learn SAP ME/MII application and understand shopfloor manufacturing business. 
  • Maintain detailed documentation of software architecture, codebase, data integration processes and APIs. 
  • Create user manuals and technical documentation for software components developed in JAVA. 
  • Act as a Java based solution Architect to handle and support SAP DM (Digital Manufacturing) Cloud Based Implementation.
  • Level up the existing team members Java Skills and Competencies.

 

What do we expect from you?​ 

 

Minimum Qualification and Experience

  • Masters or Bachelor's Engineering degree in computer science / Electronics / IT or any other engineering branch. MCA with sound knowledge can be considered.
  • Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Java.
  • Effective communication skills with the ability to interact with all stakeholders.

 

Proficiency in

 

  • Java/J2EE, PL/SQL, Java Script framework, Spring MVC, Spring boot framework, Microservices, JDBC, SQL, web service (SOAP, REST)
  • Experience in Cloud Based Deployment will be preferred.
