What is the role about?

We are looking for a Sales Development Representative - Graduate  to joing Endress+Hauser South Africa. The Sales Development Representative - Graduate is a Sales Enablement function designed to support the sales and marketing team with lead qualification & development, data cleansing within Salesforce-CRM (SFDC), reactivation of dormant accounts and customer contacts, and provide the internal sales team with opportunity and sales acquisition support. This Graduate Program aims to provide hands-on experience in sales processes and cross-collaboration with the marketing team to drive business growth.

 

Which tasks will you perform?

Lead Qualification:

    • Prepare: Research leads using industry tools, gather contact info, review sales history
    • EvaluationProspect leads and assess leads to quantify interest
    • Follow-Up: Prioritize and qualify leads, address objections, and engage customers.
    • Connect: Communicate via phone/email/ other mediums
    • Engage: Ask open-ended questions to understand needs, diagnose situations, and tailor your approach.
    • Convert: Assess interest, convert leads to opportunities, and hand over to the sales team.

 

SFDC Data Cleansing:

    • Perform data cleansing activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information in Salesforce.com to align with various E+H Standards
    • Identify and merge duplicate contact and account records.
    • Connect and communicate with customers, cross-functional collaboration to update outdated or incorrect data.
    • Post marketing campaign e-mail bounces, contact detail changes, persona industry and sub-industry (Group Standard 203 & 206)

 

Account Reactivation:

  • Reach out to inactive clients to re-establish relationships and uncover new leads and opportunities.
  • Track and report on reactivation efforts and outcomes.

 

Representative Customer Account data maintenance:

  • Perform data cleansing activities to ensure the accuracy and completeness of information in Salesforce.com to align with various E+H Standards
  • Identify and merge duplicate rep-customer contact and account records.
  • Connect and communicate with rep-customers, cross-functional collaboration to update outdated or incorrect data.
  • Clear campaign alignment to ensure digital content distribution for lead development
  • Post marketing campaign e-mail bounces, contact detail changes, personas, industry and sub-industry (Group Standard 203 & 206)

 

Internal Sales Opportunity Development Support:

  • Assist the Internal Sales team in managing and tracking sales opportunities from Market & Customer Development to Fulfilment.
  • Support the Internal Sales team with customer interactions via multiple communication channels.

 

Cross-Collaboration with Sales & Marketing:

  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales and marketing efforts.
  • Assist in the creation and execution of marketing campaigns aimed at lead generation and account reactivation.

 

What do we expect from you?

  • National Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Process Instrumentation or similar
  • Basic knowledge of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce (SFDC).
  • Basic knowledge of the Sales Process
  • Communication Skills
  • Process Instrumentation & Automation technical product knowledge & application
  • Basic understanding of CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
