We’re looking for an experienced External Sales Engineer to join our Sales team. This role, based in our Portuguese Sales Centre, focuses on driving sales of our solutions and service offering across the entire country. You will play a key role in building relationships, identifying customer needs, and delivering tailored solutions and engineering services that enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Which tasks will you perform?
You will:
- Promote and sell our portfolio of engineered solutions.
- Achieve or exceed sales targets for solutions and engineering services.
- Act as a trusted advisor, leveraging measurement technologies, digital tools, and application expertise to design solutions and services.
- Understand customer processes and pain points, working closely with our center of competence to design the best solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations and provide in-depth knowledge to support customer decision-making.
- Prepare and manage technical proposals, quotes, and commercial negotiations for complex, high-value solution contracts.
- Collaborate with the existing sales team to identify and develop new business opportunities across the country.
What do we expect from you?
You:
- Have a Masters degree in Automation/Control, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
- Bring at least 5 years of experience in sales (ideally in instrumentation or process automation).
- Have a proven track record of consultative selling skills.
- Have a strong understanding of business processes and value chains.
- Are fluent in Portuguese (C1+) and English (B2+).
- Possess excellent communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Show strong self-management and organizational skills.
- Are comfortable prioritizing tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Have a genuine customer centric mindset with a problem-solving approach.
- Ideally have experience in project management would be a plus.
