We are currently looking for a Financial Controller to join our Endress+Hauser (Baltic) UAB Team. Our office is located in Kaunas and plays an important role for the Region Europe.

 

What is the role about? 
As a Financial Controller you play a crucial part in organization. You will be working closely together with the Country Manager and the external provider as well as with the Controlling department in the Headquarter in Switzerland. You will be covering the two countries Lithuania and Latvia, and you will ensure that all financial tasks are conducted on time. 

 

Which tasks will you perform? 
You will: 

  • manage Accounts Receivable and Payable Accounting, including dunning and payment runs, ensuring compliance with signature regulations and travel and expense policies 
  • ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing in line with local and IFRS standards, including inter-company reconciliations for the two countries Lithuania and Latvia 
  • support in the financial planning and rolling forecast for Endress+Hauser (Baltic) UAB 
  • oversee timely submission and payment of direct and indirect taxes 
  • support to ensuring a good payroll analytics that salary payments can be made correctly paid by the external provider (e.g. vacation days, travel expense) 
  • liaise with external financial authorities, financial auditors, and banks, and handle any tax-related questions 
  • develop and improve accounting processes, you handle financial analysis and data interpretation 
  • plan cash flow and manage liquidity

 

What do we expect from you? 
You:

  • hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or higher, an additional finance certificate is a plus 
  • have at least 5 years of experience considered in the finance department, preferably in an international environment 
  • have experience with MS Office, experienced working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 is a plus 
  • are social and business fluent in Lithuanian and English and have a strong communication ability, Latvian or Russian is a plus 
  • are an effective team player and bring a high self-management mindset, which support accuracy and analytical thinking with a disciplined and proactive work ethic 
  • bring ownership and entrepreneurial thinking and want to improve the current status que to become better every day 
  • are flexible and feel comfortable in a dynamic environment
