What is the role about?
As the Industry Manager, you will be responsible for driving market development, particularly in the wastewater industry, expanding our business footprint, and delivering customer-focused solutions across Indonesia.
Which tasks will you perform?
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the customer ecosystem to identify and connect with key clients and partners, building strong relationships that support business growth through project wins, strategic account management, and established a strong presence within the wastewater industry
Craft and implement effective marketing strategies, delivering tailored offerings that align with customer needs and industry demands
Target and convert major competitor accounts to Endress+Hauser by aligning efforts with the appropriate sales channels and approach
Strengthen project acquisition efforts by collaborating closely with internal teams and representative partners across the Endress+Hauser network
Build internal bridges with production centers—together with the Marketing team—to tap into new business opportunities previously unexplored by Endress+Hauser
Support knowledge sharing by educating customers and sales partners on industry-relevant applications, emerging trends, and best practices
Contribute market insights and field intelligence to the Marketing Director to support short- and long-term strategic planning, including feedback on initiative success, market trends, competitor moves, product gaps, and sales forecasts
Utilize the full range of Endress+Hauser’s portfolio to secure bids and reclaim business from competitors. Capture key learnings from both wins and losses to better understand customer expectations and uncover new opportunities for market diversification within the industry
What do we expect from you?
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical field
Minimum 5 years of relevant industry experience, such as instrumentation or the wastewater sector, ideally in a marketing, business development, project, or consulting role
Strong understanding of the wastewater industry’s technical, regulatory, and commercial aspects in Indonesia
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and experience in cross-functional collaboration
Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Very good command of English
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as required
