A product manager shall be responsible for the full lifecycle of the products, from conception to release. Collect and analyze market information including, competition, positioning, customer requirements, product development roadmap and release. Product manager shall require documentation check, creation, edition, and release with technical writer.

The position is also required to provide product trainings to sales office and customers.

 

Role + Responsibilities

  • Create business case for product development idea.
  • Create product strategy including marketing collateral. 
  • Maintain product and spare parts specification, order codes, delivery schedule and pricings using SAP system.
  • Review technical documentation and work with the technical writer in creating product documentation.
  • Create announcement and information for product changes, phaseout and released. 
  • Create launching material for product release.
  • Answer product related inquiry to sales center globally. 
  • Feedback and work with quality management, RND and other department in addressing customer complaint.
  • Support in create training program and materials. 

 

Qualification + Profile

  • Experienced in field process automation and instrumentation, preferably in Tank gauging system and components. 
  • Product management experienced is an advantage. 
  • Experienced in managing cross functional teams
  • Strong presentation and speaking skills.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and professionalism in email/telephone support to customers and affiliates in English, Japanese language is an advantage.
  • Willing to travel occasionally within the country and globally.
