Role + Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support for Endress+Hauser LNG Tank Gauge solutions and other third party gauges and components that is part of the complete LNG tank gauging solution provided to the sales office globally, representatives and customers
  • Provide support on technical evaluation and technical proposal at acquisition stage and respnsibility for engineering of LNG Tank gauging system cabinet, documentation, performing FAT/iFAT, and providing after delivery service support during project execution stage.
  • Provide service training program to sales office and customers 
  • Provide support in reviewing customer tender specification and customer requirements for BDMs (Business Development Managers) and Sales Center to create technical and commercial proposal 
  • Create system and network design including communication with DCS 
  • Select adequate system devices used in the customer/project specific system cabinet 
  • Visit customer for acquisition support and technical discussion and clarification 
  • Provide step by step technical assistance in analyzing and identifying the problems and work procedure to solve issues during start up, commissioning and the complete service cycle of the solution supplied to the customer.  
  • Coordinate root cause analysis report with Quality management and RND department. 
  • Creates project documentation such as functional design specification(FDS), communication table, and inspection/commissioning procedure. 
  • Support our quality and complaint management team to work on continuous improvement of our services and products. Actively participates in quality improvement process to ensure operational excellence. 
  • Conduct FAT/iFAT  
  • Perform start up site commissioning 


Qualification + Profile

  • 5+ years’ experience in field process automation and instrumentation, preferably in Tank gauging system and components
  • Understanding with network and communication protocols
  • Understanding with electrical circuit 
  • Able to understand system diagram drawing and wiring
  • Demonstrates exceptional skill in dealing with tough and difficult situations
  • Demonstrates knowledge and professionalism in email/telephone support to customers and affiliates in English, Japanese language is an advantage
  • Willing to travel occasionally within the country and globally
