We are looking for a Project Sales Manager to join our Endress+Hauser Vietnam Company Limited in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
What is the role about?
- Be accountable for strategy, acquisition process and business result of Project Business of Endress+Hauser (E+H) International Asia Pacific (APS), includes domestic and international strategic and complex projects
- Be accountable for EPC Business Development in Vietnam, Taiwan, Philippines, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and other countries under APS
- Have the responsibility from the early qualification phase to acquisition phase until QG4 (Quality Gate 4) as Project Sales Manager
Which tasks will you perform?
- Build network and establish relationships with EPC, Consultants and other stakeholders to help customer to have the right specification and technology to Projects from early stage.
- Directly collaborate with colleagues from E+H Sales Offices and Sales Channel Partners (SCPs) pursue strategic and big projects in APS region
- Determine the project pursuit strategy and implement it by collaborating with the project team - adapt it to changing circumstances
- Coordinate communication between global project influences and Endress+Hauser’s sales, project, service and production organizations.
- Maximize the opportunity for E+H to be a multi-product and service provider for the project, promoting the future installed base at the project job site
- Contribute to the long-term business success of the contractor, user, and other project influences
- Develop and deliver customer value messages on both technical and commercial fronts.
- Produce resonating value propositions involving E+H technology, engineering services and capabilities, project implementation methodologies, productivity tools and return on investment analysis
- Quotation preparation to be done in the Sales department or Global Tendering Team (GTT) or Instrumentation Project Team, depending on the project
- Lead contract negotiations and secure the sales opportunities
- Build relationships with key decision makers and alliance partners
- Promote and position Endress+Hauser as a customer process automation partner
- Coach the colleagues and Representatives to work in project sales
- Support to form project teams for selected opportunities
- Other activities (e.g. domestic and oversea travel) as requested from time to time
What do we expect from you?
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
- 10+ years of working experience
- SAP/ SFDC knowledge is a plus
- Instrument Engineer background is a plus
- Commercial and logistic knowledge
- Negotiation skills
- Ability to lead/ work with virtual teams
- Good presentation skills
- Deep intercultural understanding
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data and make business decision
- Ability to create, manage budgets and conduct a project stakeholder analysis
